What is the West Central Intergroup of Maryland?

The primary purpose of the West Central Intergroup of Maryland, Inc. is, like the individual AA group, to carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is established to serve the groups in carrying out certain functions which are common to all groups, and which are best handled by a centralized office.These functions are described in some detail in the General Service Office publication, AA Guidelines-Central or Intergroup Offices. Providing services to the Alcoholics Anonymous groups of Frederick, Carroll and Montgomery Counties Maryland, USA.

**Intergroup office open every Wednesday night 5-7 pm
to support literature purchases. Please check calendar
at all other times prior to visiting office for
literature purchases.


Volunteers are always needed to answer the phone and sell literature
at the office. There are MANY openings to accommodate your schedule.

Twelth Step Call List Volunteers
The Intergroup is currently revising our 12th-step call list.
If you are interested in volunteering your time to take
12th-step calls please call the office or email the
Intergroup chair at wcichair@gmail.com.

Institutional Commitments
Volunteers are currently taking meetings into Institutions.
The Institution's committee is always looking for more volunteers.
Men and women are needed. If you are interested in doing this service work
please email wciinstitutions@gmail.com or call 301-662-0544 for more information. **Please note that in order to volunteer at the Frederick County Detention Center an application process is required which
includes being off of probation for a minimum of 2 years.
